Nancy A. Brooking

nancy-brooking-community-operations-managerMs. Brooking started her career in property management in 1983 at a public housing authority, and later in private sector management companies, working with low income, federally funded housing communities in New England. It was during these early years that Ms. Brooking developed an appreciation and understanding of regulatory guidelines and occupancy standards. During the next fifteen years, Ms. Brooking expanded her experience and held management positions involving both residential and commercial properties, including market rate apartment complexes, manufactured housing communities, commercial centers, premier waterfront condominiums, and independent living retirement communities. Ms. Brooking has been involved in all aspects of property management, from developer acquisition, build and lease-up, to staffing, contract negotiation, capital improvements, resident relations and budgeting. She developed a reputation for detail and procedure, and advanced to corporate level operations management.

After relocating to the Tampa area in 2002, Ms. Brooking joined Blair Communities, a community development and home building company. During her tenure at Blair, Ms. Brooking was promoted to the position: Manager of Administrative Services. In that capacity, Brooking directed administrative activities for Blair’s land development, homebuilding and community management operations.

During her tenure at Blair, Ms. Brooking played an instrumental role in employee training and team building; actively participated in the management and operation of Blair’s numerous projects; and assisted the company President in development and documentation of operating procedures and systems for land development, home building, community management and community maintenance.

In 2009, Ms. Brooking joined Terra Management Services, Inc. Brooking directs the adminstrative staff for Terra’s growing portfolio of client communities, and is playing an important role in development and documentation of procedures and systems for Terra’s community management operations.

She is a graduate magna cum laude from the University of Southern Maine with a Bachelors degree in Communications. Previously an Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) through the Institute of Real Estate Management, Ms. Brooking holds Florida license as Title Agent (E096093) and is a Florida licensed Community Association Manager (CAM36610.)
